Alba Palace Favara (Agrigento)

Alba Palace Favara (Agrigento)

The city of Favara stands at the most authentic heart of Sicily and only 7 kilometres from Agrigento and the Valle dei Templi. In 2010 it became the new centre for contemporary art in Southern Italy, thanks to the project “Farm Cultural Park”, the first visitors park built in Sicily and where art, culture and urban regeneration have given a new outlook and a new identity to the city.

This huge wave of renewal has been the inspiration for the Alba Palace, the first 4-star hotel in Favara.

The Alba Palace is the leading light of hospitality in Favara, a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. The contemporary design for the restoration of the hotel’s 19th century palazzo conserves the authentic elements of the building leaving its original characteristics unaltered.

The 20 large rooms and suites are spread over the first and second floors and are custom interior designed with a blend of traditional and contemporary materials, such as oak and sheet metal.

The Hotel offers a 50 m² Spa Suite, which includes its very own private spa with sauna, Jacuzzi and mood light shower. The Executive Suite Apartment completes the offer; it consists of a one-of-a-kind 150 m² roof-top apartment, with an 80 m² panoramic terrace and private Jacuzzi.

The restaurant, Le Traveggole, features in the 2014 Michelin Guide and in the selection of top restaurants within the La Repubblica’s Guide to Sicily for its fresh and original interpretation of Sicilian cuisine. In addition to its sophisticated reception areas such as the panoramic terrace and lounge area, the hotel offers a functions room able to host up to 100/120 people, an ideal location for organising special events and weddings.
